Yoga for Well-Being

This yoga class is designed to support greater awareness, self-compassion, body-mind strength, and inner steadiness & ease. As everyone is in a unique place in their journey, to support this reality, a variety of variations will be offered to appropriately challenge each person's balance, agility, strength and flexibility so as to help improve one's resiliency in body, mind, and spirit.
In this class, movements and pose options will include the following positions: standing, hands and knees (a chair option will be offered if being on hands and knees is not an option in your body at this time), and lying down on the floor on your belly, sides, and back.
We ask that you bring your own mat and any props you may need - blocks, blankets, pillows, straps, etc. if you have them. If you do not have props, props can be made available to you at the studio.
$100 for a 6-wk. session

The River Within:
A Lymphatic Well-Being Class

The River Within is a gentle, flowing movement practice designed to support the lymphatic and glymphatic systems — the body’s natural rivers of cleansing, nourishment, and renewal.
Over four weeks, we will explore simple yet powerful ways to encourage circulation and restore the body’s natural flow. Through a blend of self-massage, breathwork, yoga, and deep relaxation, we invite movement and rest to help stimulate lymphatic flow, release stagnation, and calm the nervous system.
Each class offers both education and embodied experience, gradually building a toolkit of practices you can take home to support immunity, brain health, and overall vitality. Together we’ll move, breathe, and rest in ways that honor the body’s innate intelligence and subtle currents.
This class is a new offering and is available on a sliding scale.

Chair Yoga for Well-Being

This class offers a gentle approach to movement and mindfulness. Participants will be encouraged to explore the practices deeply respecting and honoring any injuries or limitations they may be currently navigating while cultivating an improved sense of body awareness. As everyone is in a unique place in their journeys, a variety of variations and adaptations will be offered to appropriately challenge each person's balance, agility, strength and flexibility so as to help improve one's resiliency in body, mind, and spirit.
Students will gain practical tools from both neuroscience and contemplative / wisdom tradition practices that one can start implementing into their everyday activities to feel better in body, manage their energy levels, and maximize the health and function of one’s brain. No prior yoga and mindfulness experience necessary.
In this class, movements will be in a chair and standing.
Anything done standing will also have a seated option provided.
We will not be transitioning to the floor.
Free to residents, $12 day pass for non-residents. Must be 50 years of age or older.

Aqua Yoga

Cost: This class is free to Warm Hearth Village residents, fitness members and staff.
$12 day pass for non-residents / non-members.
Must be 50 years of age or older.
Explore practicing yoga (postures, breathwork, and mindfulness) in the accessible environment of the Warm Hearth Village pool. Benefits include pain reduction, improved strength & balance, increased freedom of movement, greater body awareness, decreased stress in body & mind, and community connection.
We will be mostly exploring standing postures, and we will be working at a water level where we will be submerged to about chest height. Our heads will stay above the water line and our feet will always be able to touch the pool floor. Options such as using the pool walls, water noodles and/or kickboards will be offered for support and improved awareness.
Warm Hearth’s pool is a beautiful sky-lit indoor space. The warm saltwater pool is a therapeutic pool that is keep between 85-90 degrees.

Mindful Strength

This class offers a thoughtful approach to building strength from the inside out. Through focused movement and breath awareness, we’ll work to cultivate core stability, improve posture and balance, increase mobility and flexibility, and empower whole-being resilience. Each session blends strength-based movement with mindful awareness, encouraging a deeper connection between body, breath, and mind. We'll explore floor-based, seated in a chair, and standing movements. Variations using light hand weights, resistance bands, yoga blocks, and straps will be offered throughout these accessible practices.
All classes will be recorded with access available for streaming or download for 1-wk after each live Zoom class. Once you register for the class, you will be given a link to join the class series.
